NMR is a benchmark tool for fragment-based drug design, offering quantitative binding data and detailed structural insights on target proteins. We are excited to introduce WuXi AppTec’s NMR-based FBDD Platform—a highly customizable service platform with high-sensitivity and multiple orthogonal techniques that empowers fragment-based drug discovery and rapid SAR exploration.

Key features of this platform include:

✅ Starting from either ligand- or protein-based primary screening of a 4K+ fragment library on a 600 MHz NMR spectrometer with cryoprobe.

✅ Cross-validation using a customized combination of methods (WaterLOGSY, HSQC, HMQC)

✅ Ranking hits with Kd values (ligand-based R2KD, no isotope-labeled protein needed)

✅ Analyzing SAR data using NMR-derived structural models (STD epitope mapping or 3D-NOE)

✅ Appropriate for Intrinsically Disordered Protein (IDP)-Ligand interactions
