WuXi AppTec is pleased to bring the 3rd Science Koffiepauze to Brussels on October 8, 2026. The event will bring together biotechnology and life science professionals for an afternoon of scientific exchange, company innovation, investment perspectives, and networking.
The program will feature a company speaker session from 13:10–14:50, showcasing emerging companies and innovative approaches across the life sciences. Speakers include Perjan Pleunis from LivingMed Biotech, Hendrik Vercammen from Sightera Biosciences, Arnaud Marchand from CD3 Labs, and Pieter Peeters from Coultreon Pharma.
Following the company presentations, a VC panel discussion from 15:20–16:20 will explore investment and innovation in the life sciences. The discussion will be chaired by Cher Shen Kiar from Inkef, with representatives from BOM, Heran Partners, and VIB sharing perspectives on the funding landscape and the opportunities and challenges facing emerging biotech companies.
The afternoon will conclude with dinner and networking from 16:20–18:30, hosted by Alessandro Spedito, providing an informal opportunity to connect with peers from across the biotechnology, investment, and life science communities.
