Biophysical Methods for Rapid Screening and Hit Validation

At DDC 2026, WuXi AppTec presented a poster showcasing our integrated discovery platform designed to accelerate the identification and validation of small molecule hits. By combining protein production, proprietary compound libraries, advanced biophysical screening, structural biology, medicinal chemistry, and computer-aided drug design (CADD), the platform streamlines early discovery workflows and improves decision-making.
A representative case study demonstrated how a library optimized for solution-based spectral shift screening enabled rapid hit identification, with high-confidence validation using surface plasmon resonance (SPR). Together, this approach helps teams move efficiently from initial hits to hit-to-lead development.
