In Vivo CAR-T Preclinical Evaluation Platform

CAR-T therapies have transformed the treatment of hematologic malignancies, yet complex manufacturing, long production timelines, and high costs continue to limit wider adoption. While allogeneic approaches address some of these challenges, immune rejection and graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) remain important hurdles.

In vivo CAR-T offers a promising alternative by engineering a patient’s own T cells directly within the body, with the potential to simplify manufacturing, reduce costs, and improve patient access.

To support the development of in vivo CAR-T therapies, WuXi Biology has established a preclinical evaluation platform spanning:

✅ Target binder discovery, CAR engineering, and optimization

✅ LNP-RNA and lentiviral delivery system development and evaluation

✅ In vitro characterization of CAR expression, T-cell activation and proliferation, and tumor cell killing

✅ Humanized mouse models for in vivo efficacy, biodistribution, and early safety assessment

Our preclinical platform supports in vivo CAR-T programs from early discovery through preclinical pharmacology, helping researchers evaluate promising candidates more efficiently.
